A total of 100 Junior Residents/Senior Residents will be provided complimentary accommodation on a twin sharing basis in a 4-Star Premium Hotel for 3 nights from 10th July to 13th July 2024

Submission of abstract is a pre-requisite and selection is based on the scoring of the abstract submitted.

  • Submission of abstract through the website is open now
  • Closing date for submission of abstract: 22nd May 2024, 23:59 pm, IST
  • Intimation mail by 31st May 2024
  • Registration in CME is mandatory for abstract submission.
  • All abstracts must be submitted online through the CME website
  • Junior Residents and Senior Residents should upload an endorsement letter from their Head of the Department to certify the designation along with the abstract submission.
  • Delegates other than junior/senior residents are also welcome to submit abstracts via the website to present their research work. However, please note that these abstracts will be considered for poster presentations only and will not be eligible for competition session.

Abstract Structure

  • A structured ABSTRACT, with Title, Introduction, Aims and Objectives, Method, Results and Conclusion, not exceeding 500 words should be submitted. Graphs, figures, and pictures are not allowed in the abstract. There should not be any information identifying the presenting author or institute details in the abstract.
  • Please proofread your abstract to ensure that it does not contain spelling, grammar, or scientific mistakes. Abstracts should be written in clear and concise English.
  • During online submission, you may indicate whether your preference to have your presentation in the oral/poster category.

Abstract Review, Selection and Communication

Abstract Review & Selection

  • All the submitted abstracts will be blindly reviewed and scored by the Scientific Committee and accepted for an oral or poster presentation.
  • The review committee will look into
    1. Novelty of the research idea
    2. Relevance/Rationale of the study
    3. Objective(s) of the study
    4. Appropriateness of methods used
    5. Presentation of the results, in keeping with the objectives set
    6. Conclusions justified based on interpretations of results.
  • All Abstracts will be checked for plagiarism.
  • Presenters for Oral/Poster presentation will be informed about the date and time of the session and presentation guidelines will be provided.
  • All communications will be with the corresponding author alone.
  • All selected abstracts will be published in the CME souvenir.
